Plot
A demented physician becomes obsessed with a young singer whose voice sounds similar to his late mistress.
To me this film feels like a Horror/Thriller boarding on Musical at moments. A very unique feel. And on Lowfade stock for the win!
THE CLIMAX (1944) starring Boris Karloff, Susanna Foster, Turhan Bey and Gale Sondergaard. directed by George Waggner. Oscar nominated for best art direction. This is a Kodachrome color print from 1947 - splices throughout - occasional minor jumps in action - no scenes missing - some expected light general wear but otherwise in remarkably good shape. By no means perfect, but very watchable.
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS FILM HAS A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF SPLICES THAT HAVE BEEN REPAIRED.
